ROLLING STEEL CURTAIN
DAB’s 1200C series rolling steel doors are assembled using individual interlocking curved slats to form a continuous steel curtain the height of the entire door opening. Series 1200C steel curtain doors are manufactured from 20 gauge G90 galvanized steel that has gone through a hop-dipped galvanizing process for superior corrosion resistance. The series 1200C steel curtain doors can be upgraded to18 gauge G 90 steel to meet higher performance requirements. The individual curved slats are high-tech riveted with continuous steel wind locks for smooth and trouble- free operation. A steel bottom bar is a standard feature on the 1200C series, incorporating a flexible weather seal for additional weather protection.
Assembled from durable 3/16 inch structural steel angles, primed finished.
Proper material thickness so that deflection does not exceed 0.03 inched per lineal foot of door width.The counterbalance is designed with an oil-tempered helical torsion spring engineered for 25,000 cycles and easly regulated by means of o tention- adjusting wheel mounted on an outside bracket. High Cycle Springs are available upon request.
The 1200C series rolling steel door come standard with action or with a combination of pull-chain hoist and gear operation with a maximum pull-load of 35 pounds. All 1220C series rolling doors may be upgraded to motorized push button operation.
All 1200C series curtains doors are equipped with heavy-duty, end bracket plates the independently support the door curtain and counterbalance assembly to the door guide for easy installation, maintenance, and repairs
